"The journey of the woman in love" is a book manifest which presents romantic love as a social formulation and form of women's cultural conditioning based on the construction of desire and the repetition of experiences.
The title refers to the narratives where we are conditioned to live the ups and downs, the sweet and the bitter, the joys and sorrows of love, in a repetition of behaviours, and which rarely consider other possibilities of affection and fulfilment.
As artist Carmen Winant says: Feminists have long set out to make books, pamphlets and leaflets; this form of work goes hand in hand with the movement's agenda. What better than an object that can be shared, passed around, circulating between people and countries, at low cost?
